Hello PNWGS Rider,
I have some very important news regarding the two remaining PNWGS Rally events for 2008.
As some of you may have heard by now, I will be relocating to San Francisco at the end of May. Although sudden, the job I have been offered is an opportunity that I cannot afford to pass up. Because of this, it is with great regret that we have decided to disband the PNWGS Rally in its current form and cancel all remaining events for this season, including the Trail Tek Clinic this Saturday the 17th, and the Rolling Rally July 31st through August 3rd. If you have paid a registration fee for either of these events, you will receive a refund check within a week and a half.
Even though I have had a great team of fellow GS Riders to help me plan and execute our events, I have always been the driving force of the team and of the PNWGS Rally. In light of all this, the rest of the board and I feel that we do not have the time and resources to run these events in a manner that we would be satisfied with, and ending things on as graceful a note as possible is the best course of action.
I apologize for this turn of events. As much as I would like to see things continue, I know the volume of work that it takes to plan and execute these events, and I will not have the time or the ability to be hands-on about it when I am in San Francisco.
On a very positive note, Wayne Elston and Eric Blume intend to continue conducting GS Rider training seminars. If you are subscribed to the PNWGS Rally mailing list, you will continue to receive notification of these events.
I thank you for all your support in the past three years. It’s been a great ride, but all great rides have to end.
